Artwork description
Firebird in Slavic mythology is a magic bird with colorful, glowing like fire feathers. Firebird is a messenger of the divine will, because it has the ability to migrate between the world of the gods and the world of people. For Firebird is also believed that it could be reborn. At her death she turned into ash and then again could be reborn from the ashes. This belief is Slavic manifestation of general Indo-European idea of reincarnation is a fiery bird Phoenix.
